Yeah I was sorta excited when I first heard about someone doing it. I'd always been into street bikes and had made a few cafes, but the first time I saw one and rode one I thought too much Buell and not enough sport. The F2 sold me on the sport bike setup but like Terrell, I wouldn't mind having a Buell just to have one.

66 Left in CA. One of the guys on last weekends ride had just picked up an 1125. $5,000 off, no joke. I don't have room for yet another bike or I might be looking.

Wow... did you see this quote from their website?

"Although Buell has stopped building America’s sportbike, there’s never been a better time to purchase a Buell. In addition to unprecedented pricing, every new Buell motorcycle comes with a Harley-Davidson, Inc. backed 24-month/unlimited miles limited warranty. "

If you didn't buy or ride one before, then why would you want to do it now? Hell if that was the case and you all bought back when, they wouldn't have gone out of business.

I almost bought one a couple years ago but circumstances changed. Five grand is a solid arguing point for a bike that's overpriced to start.
